    Tune in to hear from the Cal U Admissions Team as they discuss best practices for applying, important timelines, and key terms that will help you and your student as you move through the application process.


    Financial Aid 101
     

    Whether you are a family with a first-time college student or have gone through the financial aid process several times, you won't want to miss this session with members of our Financial Aid office. They will keep you posted on any new updates from the US Dept. of Education, share important deadlines, and answer all of your questions about affording a college education.


    Talk with Current Cal U Families
      

    What better way to learn how best to support your college-bound student than to hear from parents of currently enrolled students themselves? Listen in to hear their stories, experiences, and advice on how to best guide your student toward achieving success in college.      


    Career Readiness

    Let's face it, you want your student to earn a college degree so that they can find fulfillment in a rewarding career. At Cal U, your student is assigned to their very own Career Coach who will guide them through personal career assessments, finding the perfect internship, resume reviews and more. Learn more about our Cal U's Career & Professional Development Center (CPDC).
      


    Personal and Social Readiness

    Your students will be going from roughly 40 hours in the classroom a week to a mere 15 hours a week in college. But don't worry, we've got you covered. Our Student Life team consists of students & staff who are there to make sure your student is thriving outside of the classroom. Hear all about our active campus as our Student Life team discusses clubs, health & wellness, social events, athletics, performing arts and so much more of what's going on across campus!  


    Financial Aid for Accepted Students

    You've completed the FAFSA and your student has been admitted to Cal U, but you're still in need of some direction to make sure everything is in order. This session with financial aid is to help you understand the award package, smart borrowing, payment plans and making certain all the necessary paperwork is completed.


    Next Steps for Admitted Students 

    Let us help you through the next steps of your student's enrollment to Cal U. Whether they have made the decision to attend Cal U or need a bit more time to decide, view this informative session with the Admissions and Academic Success teams of Cal U. We are hear to help make sure it is a smooth transition! 


    Housing and Residence Life

    Preparing your Student for the Fall

    New Student Orientation is a required program for both first-year and transfer students attending Cal U.
